It started with the pandemic – already low inventory made worse by COVID-19. But as the pandemic worsened, demand increased and the market tightened even further leaving plenty of would-be homebuyers disappointed and frustrated with never-ending bidding wars.
This year, add inflation and rising interest rates to the frustration.
But as prices start to fall and inflation flattens out a bit, perhaps we’re nearing the end of buyer fatigue. Perhaps.
