Bloomberg News is reporting that the mood of home owners continues to shift in a positive direction as to the value of their homes. And they’re willing to spend to increase that value. Many are now willing to spend money on repairs and remeodels that they had put off for so long.
Of course, this optimism is not unfounded. As the economy continues to improve – albeit slowly for some – jobs and wages are moving the right direction. And, the prime source for the improved outlook, is that home prices continue to increase. The median price for a single-family home in the past year rose in 86 percent of 175 major metro areas.
