Housing inventory is low, mortgage rates are on the rise and if this is your first venture into the real estate market – during a pandemic, no less, this can be an especially challenging time.
One technique is to engage the sellers on a personal level. Selling a home can be very emotional and it’s become fairly common practice to write a note explaining how much the new home will mean to you.
Another possibility is to waive the home inspection but consult with your realtor first and definitely not advised for older homes.
