Home prices in the Bay Area are once again on the rise – except for condominiums in San Francisco’s downtown market. While April tends to see higher spikes than many other months, condos in the downtown/South Market area had a median price of $941,500 – less than every April since 2014.
Overall, the condo market is selling at 2017 prices.
Real estate professionals urge buyers to pay attention to how long a listing has been onthe market. If it’s more than 15 days, then a there is less likely to be a bidding war and a buyer may be able to get in with an under asking bid.
