Department of Business Oversight (DBO) licensees have been urged to grant latitude as is deemed appropriate to those customers severely affected by the damage from the Napa earthquake on August 24, 2014. The Department recognizes the widespread and ongoing effect that the earthquake will have on the economy in the counties affected.
Governor Jerry Brown issued an emergency proclamation on August 24 for Napa, Solano and Sonoma counties which were most severely affected by the 6.1 magnitude earthquake that caused widespread damage to roads, buildings, businesses and homes in the region.
