According to the National Association of Realtors, existing home sales have dropped 32 percent over the past two years. However, they predict that 2024 will see a rise in existing home sales to 4.7 million units, up from this year’s projected 4.2 million.
There is considerable hope that with inflation slowing, mortgage rates will drop into the 6.1% to 6.6% range in time for the (hopefully) busy spring season.
