According to a recent survey, solar and wind are seen as prime energy sources for the future by a majority of homeowners. Following these sources were natural gas, increased efficiency, oil, hydro-power and nuclear power. A full 87 percent said that renewable sources are key components to the country’s energy future.

However, “saving money” rather than “reducing my environmental impact” is the prime motivating factor in moving towards clean energy products according to 82 percent of those surveyed.
